Learn and experience QRM one step at a time

Every QRM journey starts with many and varied questions. What is QRM? Is it right for my business? How have other companies used QRM? What implementation challenges will we face? What kind of results should we expect? At our QRM events, experts in the field answer such questions and provide you with a toolkit to make time work for — and not against — your company.

Every year, the QRM Center offers a wide variety of training events, from introductory seminars for newcomers to more advanced workshops for people already familiar with QRM and dealing with concrete implementation issues. In addition, QRM Center members have access to special working groups and case study presentations highlighting current implementation successes and challenges.

“An eye opening way to look at many issues that have burdened our company for years. Finally a solution that creates less not more paperwork.”

QRM Event Features

QRM’s time-based focus challenges conventional wisdom and offers novel answers to common manufacturing issues. Some of our research results will surprise you and challenge traditional beliefs/common practices.

Theory is important, but it is practice that counts. QRM events include hands-on workshops that give participants a head start in bringing QRM to their companies.

Our events are by professionals for professionals. We focus on the important issues at hand and nothing else. Time is money, and we want to make sure your valuable time is spent right.

Continuing Education

Quick Response Manufacturing is a growing continuous improvement strategy and an important addition to the toolkit of every industry professional. Many of our events qualify for Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits that can be applied to degree and certificate programs.

We take feedback seriously. Based on our participants’ recommendations, QRM workshops and seminars are regularly improved and revised to meet the current and evolving needs of our audience.

At every QRM event, QRM Center staff and students are available to answer additional questions about the QRM Center, the University of Wisconsin, event logistics – and where to find the best food in town.
