QRM Working Group

Implementing QRM provides many benefits, but it is not without challenges. In this working group, the QRM Center brings together member companies, industry professionals and university faculty to find solutions to common implementation challenges.

Each meeting focuses on one or two topics suggested by QRM Center members. Industry colleagues with first-hand experience introduce each topic, followed by a discussion within the working group, focusing on the specific challenges. Our goal: to find new ideas and possible solutions to implement in your organization. Industry and faculty experts are on hand to facilitate the discussion on the different topics.

QRM working group meetings are an exclusive benefit for QRM Center members.

QRM and Accounting

  • How members addressed the accounting challenges related to QRM implementations
  • Specific changes members have implemented at their organization to support QRM efforts
  • Discussion on how these changes might apply in your organization.

Metrics to support QRM

  • How members have communicated trade-offs between lead time, efficiency, utilization and costs in their organization

Working group meetings are designed to offer QRM member companies a closer look at topics they are particularly interested in. Depending on what topic we look at, we draw on the expertise of faculty, industry professionals or other experts in the field.
