Position title: Corporate Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager
As Corporate Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager for TCI, Brian Sobczak oversees all aspects of the organization’s quality and business improvement efforts. He is responsible for directing the company’s ISO 9001 quality management system and ensuring improvement efforts meet or exceed strategic and operational goals, as well as internal and external customers’ needs and expectations.
Brian has more than 30 years of manufacturing experience – all of them with TCI. He has held a variety of positions in various functions within the organization, including engineering, production planning and scheduling, quality, strategic planning, and continuous improvement. This broad-based experience has enabled Brian to develop a clear understanding of business system dynamics and interdependencies.
Brian began his QRM journey in 1995 and has been an avid student, practitioner, teacher and advocate ever since. Brian has a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. He is a certified QRM Champion and has served on the QRM Center’s Executive Committee continuously since 2001. He is also an ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence.
